Job Description & Responsibilities

Our Technical Project Management (TPM) members lead cross-functional teams to ensure new hardware products are successfully developed and launched to production. Our TPM’s are involved in all phases of the product lifecycle including planning, development, procurement, production, and support. At Silicom you will get to work with the latest technologies in some of the fastest growing markets and some cases helping define new markets that are changing the world.

Responsibilities:

  • Create program schedules and coordinate commitments between internal (Sales, Engineering, Test, Quality, Operations, NPI, Management, etc) and external stakeholders
  • Closely monitor each project to ensure it remains on schedule, within budget, and tracks to the defined plan.
  • Coordinate project meetings, monitor/drive project action items, identify major risks, and help define corrective actions
  • Present and communicate project status to customers and provide customer feedback to engineering and production.
  • Build a team environment of collaboration, cooperation, and open communication

Qualifications

  • Experience with program management and PM tools
  • Strong technical background with experience developing complex hardware platforms
  • Excellent team player with strong communication skills (written and verbal) are essential
  • Strong leadership skills to manage the cross-functional teams
  • Experience with ERP (Priority preferably) and PLM (preferably Agile) tools
  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
