C++ Software Engineer

The C++ Development Engineer will work as part of an engineering team to design, develop, integrate, and test software features on embedded electronic controls for use in autonomous machine applications.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop display software application software for the heavy machinery equipment using QT/C++.
• Develop test cases using Google Test Framework.
• Perform autonomous machine common infrastructure software development and support.
• Integrate software features taken from models and libraries to create software flash files.
• Integrate configuration and calibration data.
• Conduct test plan development and software validation.
• Identify and resolve software defects.
• Conduct software reviews
• Work in Agile Team environment

Required Experience:

• Four-year engineering degree (or equivalent).
• 6+ years of QT, embedded C++ experience.
• Experience with Google Test Framework.
• Experience with software development tools such as Clear Case, Git, debuggers, and compilers.

Required Skills:

• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Analytical skills with the ability to identify needed actions and act to resolve issues with minimal oversight.
• Ability to work effectively with a culturally diverse work group.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $113,644.25 per year
