Responsibilities:

• Provides nursing leadership for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care and safety in assigned areas of responsibility and on all shifts.
• Collaborates with physicians, other departments, to coordinate the needs of patients and their families.
• Manages resources in a fiscally responsible manner.
• Supports the mission and vision of the facility, division and company.
• Assures quality care through the initiation and evaluation of patient care utilizing performance improvement processes.

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Master in Nursing preferred.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
• PALS, ENPC within 6 months of hire
• TNCC within 12 months of hire
• Specialty Certification achieved or in progress
• Minimum five years Pediatric Intensive Care/Inpatient, NICU, or Pediatric Emergency nursing.
