Job Description:
This position is responsible for the successful operation of the Food & Nutrition Services (FNS) Department with a primary focus of directing all aspects of the retail services, primarily the cafeteria and coffee shops. This position will manage labor and resources providing excellent customer service ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and work toward improving systems and processes while following the mission and policies of Baptist Health. Leads the FNS department to provide exceptional customer service delivering high quality food to all our customers while being cost effective. Responsible for quality improvement activities, sanitation, and infection control. Successfully motivates and engages employees in a fast-paced environment. Stays up to date on current trends within the industry.
High School diploma preferred. Culinary Arts Degree or a Hospitability Management School required. (5) years of progressive food service management experience may be substituted for a degree.
