Job Description

Macy Industries is currently looking for an experienced Project Manager. Macy Industries has been in business for nearly 50 years, providing all of New England with metal fabrication services and engineered solutions. The Project Manager will be a key member of our fast-paced, custom design team. Duties will include quoting, design of parts and systems, supervision of fabricators, managing budget and schedule, and daily interaction with our customers. The best fit candidate must be flexible and eager to learn, as our custom shop is a fluid environment and jobs change rapidly. Background or experience in engineering, construction, or other hands-on trades preferred.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Coordination and Management of projects.

· Working with project stakeholder concerning project detail and deliverables.

· Planning and implementation of the project.

· Coordinate and manage project tasks and deliverables.

· Contracting with vendors and subcontractors

· Managing budget and schedule.

· Estimating, purchasing, setting up meetings and drafting invoices.

· Tracking and reporting project progress.

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Experience managing projects, preferably in engineering, construction or fabrication fields.

· Well-developed communication skills (written and oral)

· Excellent attention to detail

· Excellent organizational and time management skills.

· Ability to work independently and with a team.

Education and Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· 1-2 years of related experience required or a combination of schooling and experience.

· Proficient with Microsoft office, previous experience with design software a plus.

· Degree in engineering, construction management or related field is a plus.

Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods standing, bending, reaching and walking.

· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

· Ability to drive to onsite locations.

· Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.

Current Driver’s License

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
