A custom compounding pharmacy in the San Antoinio area is looking for an entrepreneurial/business minded pharmacist to join our staff. Applicants with an Independent Pharmacy or Compound Pharmacy background are encouraged to apply. There is a ton of opportunity for growth with in the company! MUST HAVE PRIOR MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE.

Candidates must be licensed in TX and possess a BS in Pharmacy or PharmD.

Duties include:

• Custom compounding prescriptions and verifying the work of lab technicians.
• Verify compounding formulas and verify for accuracy.
• Verify that prescription orders fulfill legal requirements before leaving the lab to be dispensed.
• Follow all Federal and State Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Work with 2-5 Sales Reps who grow the business daily.
• Manage employees and create a strong culture in the pharmacy.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 year experience in a pharmacy setting with general knowledge of compounding practices and standards, and pharmaceutical calculations.
• Candidate work history must demonstrate reliability.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of compounding equipment operational skills.
• Strong computer skills.

Normal work hours are Monday - Friday 8am-6pm. No weekends or holidays.

Pay: $125,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
