We currently have openings Part Time pharmacy cashiers. While entry level, these positions will involve cross training for pharmacy technician duties and have room for advancement.

Cashiers are responsible for interacting with patients and team members, supporting organization initiatives and providing an outstanding customer service experience.

Successful candidates must be able to perform a variety of tasks including:

· Operating a computerized cash register system and handling cash as well as credit card transactions.

· Filing completed patient prescriptions in alphabetical order and retrieving them for sale

· Receiving wholesaler orders and stocking merchandise on shelves

· Merchandising and resetting seasonal and gift displays

· Assisting patients and customers to find items on the sales floor

· Assisting customers with UPS, Dry Cleaning, Bill Pay and other services that the organization provides

· Cleaning shelves and floors while maintaining a safe environment for customers and staff alike.

· Candidates must be able to occasionally lift and carry packages up to 50 lb.

· Complete other duties as assigned

· Candidates must be available to work during the days and times that our store is open. (Monday thru Friday 9am – 7pm and Saturdays 9am – 1pm). Shifts will likely vary day to day and week to week.

Qualifications

Previous retail experience is preferred but not required

High School diploma or GED

Must be able to read, write and count accurately

Must have strong verbal and writing skills

Must be 18 years or older

Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings.

Job Duties:

• Operate all aspects of the register, including cash and card transactions, scanners, and scales
• Maintain an accurate cash drawer, ensuring that all transactions are accounted for by the end of the shift
• Answer any customer inquiries, and use your knowledge of store layout and product content to give directions as needed
• Assist customers with bagging and carrying products as needed
• Maintain a clean work environment, keeping register clear for incoming customers
• Other duties as requested
