Job Title: Summer 2023 PPE Architecture Co-Op/Intern
JOB LOCATION: Austin, Texas
ONSITE: This is an onsite position – the intern/co-op is required to relocate if necessary and work full-time (40 hours) from the location office.
PROGRAM TERM: Summer 2023 (May 22 or June 5, 2023 – August 11, 2023)
- Assist Product Development Engineers in bring-up, characterization and production test program development.
- Focus efforts in one of three team disciplines based on interest, skills, and team needs – Yield/Test Analysis; Product Definition; or System Level Test (SLT).
- Perform engineering and correlation studies to ensure yield, coverage, and quality meet corporate target goal to start production ramp.
- Participate on cross-functional teams to improve capabilities and/or resolve production related issues.
- Build analysis, optimization, or reporting tools to improve our team’s efficiency, accuracy, and quality.
- Write and maintain technical documents to summarize results and progress.
- Completion of 2nd year of (BS) Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering program

WHAT WOULD SET YOU APART:
- Knowledge and experience using Rust.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- This is very much a hands-on position where the successful candidate will gain experience of writing software in a professional development environment and will contribute directly to some of the key features of this toolset; therefore someone with a strong interest and confidence in writing software is required.
- The successful candidate will be paired with two mentors, one local and one remote, and they will also learn about how test programs and individual test patterns are created, verified in simulation ahead of silicon arrival, and then finally deployed and debugged on the final product using Automated Test Equipment (ATE).
- The candidate will emerge from this internship well-placed to enter a future role in product, test, or design-verification engineering where they could hit the ground running by using the toolset that they originally helped to develop.
