Benjamin Institute is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant on-site at our office outside of Porter Square, Cambridge. Primary responsibilities include administering our continuing education website, providing the owner with office support, and facilitating both his virtual and live events. The position’s 20 hours per week is flexible Monday-Friday to be decided in advance by the AA with the owner’s approval. Partial remote work is possible after 6 months in the office.
Benjamin Institute offers quality, affordable online continuing education for massage therapists, athletic trainers, physical therapists, etc. Over the past forty years, Dr. Ben Benjamin has had a private practice for the injury rehabilitation of clients, owned a massage school, taught thousands of students, co-written the primary sourcebook for the profession's ethics education, The Ethics of Touch, and frequently serves as an expert witness on the subject.
Responsibilities:
· Update and optimize content for two custom websites
· Provide customer service:
· Coordinate live and virtual event materials:
· Moderate live webinars – including speaker introductions and Q&A sessions
· Provide administrative support to the company owner
· Independently balance multiple concurrent assignments with shifting priorities
· Grow job responsibilities as required
