In need of a full time Medical Assistant to work M-F. No weekends!

Pay depends on experience and responsibilities.

Job responsibilities

Assist the providers in examination and treatment of patients. Triages patients and administers appropriate treatment under direction of a physician. Prepares exam room for each patient's visit. Ensures rooms are cleaned and fully stocked with supplies. Greets, rooms patients, and takes vital signs. Instructs patients on pertinent information. Complies with OSHA policies and CLIA compliance while performing duties. Assists with scheduling of appointments, tests and procedures as needed.

Job Requirements

Complete Medical Assistant program at an accredited school. This position requires a high level of energy with the ability to multi-task. Must be professional, flexible, caring, and compassionate and exhibit a congenial and sensitive attitude towards patients and others. This position requires a medical background with strong verbal communication, teaching ability and good telephone skills are necessary. The ability to work well with people and follow procedures is required. The ability to remain calm and be effective in emergency situations is a must.
