Legal Nurse Consultant

Expected Work Hours and Compensation:

40 hours per week at $35 per hour with benefits and the potential for annual bonus. Benefits include health insurance, dental insurance, paid time off, and substantial professional development, training, and guidance. Ideal Candidate:

This position is best suited for a candidate seeking a work-life balance. The position calls for a 40-hour week and part-time candidates will be considered. Start times are selected to accommodate the team member’s schedule.

The ideal candidate possesses a nursing degree and proven background in reviewing and analyzing medical records. The position requires an understanding of how to obtain medical records from a variety of facilities including individual providers, hospitals and the VA. Candidates should possess an understanding of all medical terms and an ability to define the same. A certain level of investigation and forensics are required for this position. Training on the specific medicine and procedures involved in the position is provided.

This position involves multi-tasking several cases simultaneously and as such the qualified candidate is detail-oriented and highly organized. This position involves communicating with clients and others over the telephone and in writing such that candidates need a demonstrated background in the same. A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, Adobe Acrobat, and electronic file organization skills is also required.
