Job Description :

Busy Multi-office Oral Surgery Practice looking to hire a Patient Care Coordinator/Receptionist. Are you a team player looking for a job that is challenging, requires multi-tasking and people skills? Are you courteous, diplomatic and sensitive while working with patients? Do you have excellent phone skills, know your way around a computer and pay attention to details? Do you consider yourself highly organized and not above cleaning up the waiting room area or other tasks as needed? Are you looking for long term employment? If you are this person, we want you on our team! We are seeking a full time patient coordinator in our Keene, NH location. You may also be required to travel to our Brattleboro, VT location. Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.

Responsibilities include:

  • Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice.
  • Scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling appointments as needed.
  • Assisting patients to fill out information forms.
  • Preparing patients’ charts and daily schedules for the surgical staff.
  • Confirming appointments
  • Communicating with insurance companies to verify patient benefits
  • Estimating and presenting patient financial responsibilities
  • Verifying methods of payment and collecting payments.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Good telephone etiquette.
  • Office administrative experience

Preferred, but not a deal breaker:

  • Proven experience working in a dental office.
  • Sound knowledge of dental terminology.
  • Proficient in dental practice management software (WinOMS).
