INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE:

Jamis® and Nirve® Bicycles is seeking a highly motivated, experienced Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative to join our growing team in our Northvale, New Jersey offices.

Jamis and Nirve Bicycles are sold in the US from coast to coast and in over 50 countries worldwide. Our parent company, G. Joannou Cycle, was established in 1937 and remains the largest bicycle business in the US under original family ownership.

DESCRIPTION/REQUIREMENTS:

* Your primary responsibility will be to serve as the main customer interface, while working in conjunction with our outside sales team, to satisfy customer requirements by creating good customer relations and increasing business to existing and new accounts.

* Communicate new sales and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through customer interactions.

* Support sales department and customers in accordance with company policies

* Excellent follow up and communication to customer requests and status updates as needed

* Identify and resolve customer concerns and complaints in a timely manner

* Participation in marketing events or trade shows when necessary

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including professional e-mails and customer documents

* Excellent negotiation skills

* Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills

* Willing and able to meet sales goals

* Must exhibit a positive, patient, personable nature

* Excellent organizational skills

* Candidate will need to fit well with our company values – Trustworthy, Dedicated, Team Player

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma required
• College degree a plus
• Minimum 3 years sales experience, Bicycle Industry experience preferred
