Ink Barrel, a young and fast-paced commercial print and marketing company, is seeking a creative, enthusiastic, meticulous and self-starting Graphic Designer to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for all aspects of the creative department. This includes preparing jobs for print, building brands for customers from scratch, designing collateral, direct mail and marketing materials and even heading up our own corporate re-brand. We're looking for someone with a keen eye for beautiful design and a perspective that communicates Ink Barrel’s modern and forward leaning philosophy through our delivered products. You must demonstrate outstanding design abilities, technological proficiency, communication and the ability to enjoy a very fast-paced, casual workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute compelling corporate, recruiting, and sales materials, including brochures, presentations, social media, emails, promotional materials, presentations, and ads.
  • Prepare jobs for print by managing the entire pre-press design process.
  • Quickly design and execute striking direct mail concepts.
  • Maintain a library of projects, templates, and brand guidelines.
  • Show a commitment to and consistent ability to meet project deadlines while managing multiple priorities.
  • Coordinate with customers to execute their desired vision.
  • Create one-of-a-kind attention grabbing direct and social media digital content.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor of Arts degree in graphic design preferred or 2-5 years of related graphic design experience
  • Strong collaborator; ability to work well within a team and across departments
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, highly energetic atmosphere
  • Ability to lead projects from concept to completion with the knack for connecting business strategy with content development
  • A strategic thinker who pays attention to details, is able to proof work, and has a keen eye for identifying and fixing errors like spelling, grammar, and formatting
  • Highly skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat, as well as Microsoft Office Suite, specifically PowerPoint
  • A strong working knowledge of digital media and social media networks (Facebook, Twitter, Tik Tok and others) is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
