The Engineering Design Associate will provide work management system, Design Tool data entry and general support to Designers as part of the planning process. Candidates are expected to have strong computer knowledge and have the ability to work with independence in the Design Planning tools.

This position is accountable for providing accurate and timely work results which support safety, reliability, and time management while providing quality customer service. Major responsibilities and specific job duties include but are not limited to the following Perform Design Tool entry, work management system and general support to Designers and management of system queues

• Enters projects as requested into the work management system using Designer notes, templates, and/or other methods
• Applies standard designs to lower complexity corrective work, follow-up work, and/orother routine program work
• Assists the Designers with general work preparation, particularly for major projects and other maintenance / program work. Eliminate Unnecessary “Non-Design” Steps for PSI Engineering ie: The Engineering Design Associate will provide work management system, Design Tool data entry and general support to Designers as part of the planning process. • Determine if data is acceptable or will need to be revised and resent
• Copies/translate sketches/notes from Designers into appropriate format for design review
• Verifies/completes the information in the work management system prior to releasing job(s) to manufacturing and production
• Assists Designer with updating work management system for status, project comments, or customer comments and contact information Maintain PSI Database and Prioritize Cases for PSI Engineering (Considering Surgery Data, Production Time, Case Load, Case Complexity, etc.)
• Work with PSI Engineering, Customer Care, Production, and Sales Reps to Ensure a Smooth PSI Process
