Position Summary / Key Objectives:
This position manages a variety of programs, projects, and resources related to our product lines and customer needs. Recommends, initiates and manages new projects and programs. As well as, develops and utilizes, in coordination with other technical staff, new processes and formulation as it relates to identifying new business/technical innovation and opportunities.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelors of Science in Food Science or related degree preferred, with a minimum three to five years’ experience in the food industry
• Knowledge and skill in conducting basic product development projects/experiments
• Good understanding and knowledge of FDA and USDA regulatory guidelines, and other applicable industry standards
• Proficient project management skills. Interpersonal skills. Supervisory skills.
• Ability to analyze different situations and adapt as required.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks:

• Responsible for identifying and managing product and process developments.
• Communication to sales, marketing, operations, senior technical services staff, and customers.
• Keeps abreast of current scientific developments in and outside company
• Recommends and/or initiates projects within existing programs and/or business channels.
