About the team

The Sales & Service Enablement team supports the Zillow mission to help our customers unlock life’s next chapter by standing up the right processes, optimal workflows, and integrated experiences across the Sales & Service org. In this way, we are central to the B2C customer experience, helping to drive excellence to make it easier to be an employee, and ultimately easier to deliver a 5-star experience every time, to every customer. This role supports this vision by working directly with frontline leaders and frontline employees to validate that operational processes are being followed, and that key deadlines contributing to our success are met and delivered against. This role will also be responsible for collecting feedback on key processes and mechanisms, ensuring adoption and iteration for future planning. In particular, this role will ensure that the appropriate real estate licenses are in place at the right time to deliver in every market we serve, and will be responsible for supporting the build out and execution of the long-term Sales & Service strategy for both net-new and reciprocal licensing timelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain records, compile information, and submit necessary forms to ensure Seller Consultants and incoming Seller Consultants achieve and maintain net-new and reciprocal licenses in their respective markets.

  • Oversee the licensing process and timelines for unlicensed talent before they transition into the licensed Seller Consultant role.

  • Oversee the licensing process and timelines for licensed talent attaining secondary and tertiary licenses.

  • Report licensing progress weekly to senior leadership to ensure all SLAs are met and achieved with a high level of visibility.

  • Proactively work to identify challenges and roadblocks, and build recommendations to resolve them.

  • Work with Brokerage Operations to understand and provide visibility to legal, brokerage, and state-by-state nuances that need to be addressed in our licensing process and timelines.

  • Maintain records of licensing expirations and continuing education required for our Seller Consultants to maintain their existing licenses.

  • Ensure compliance to real estate norms, policies, and regulations to the highest degree.

  • Possess an understanding of the real estate business and anomalies in the licensing process by state to best support individuals in the licensing pipeline.

  • Respond to changes in the business with agility and adeptness at navigating ambiguity.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any of the 50 US States, with limited exceptions. In certain cases, an employee in a remote-designated job may need to live in a specific region or time zone to support customers or clients as part of their role.

In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York City and Washington the standard base pay range for this role is $70,100.00 - $111,900.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York City and Washington and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Who you are

Qualifications:

  • Possess a working knowledge of the real estate licensing process.

  • Must be comfortable influencing without authority, ensuring timelines for licensing are met by guiding and pushing licensees through the process and ensuring adherence to SLAs.

  • Must possess great communication skills;, knowing how to actively listen and use objections as a space to ask more questions.

  • Must possess excellent presentation skills, providing regular updates to senior leadership on progress, concerns, and blockers.

  • Must be able to interact with 3rd party stakeholder information and processes with integrity.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a technical aptitude.

  • Expert in organizational tools and resources; expertise in Excel preferred.
