Remote but you must live in Northern California preferably in the San Francisco Bay Area


Supervisory Responsibilities:
Responsible for ensuring the completion and delivery of locally code-compliant Solar conforming to customer requirements
Essential Job Functions:

• THIS ENGINEERING MANAGER WILL ALSO PLAN AND REVIEW ALL PROJECTS
• Review design and drafting tasks assigned to Designers or Engineers
• Review design of construction drawings including but not limited to equipment layouts, electrical site plans, and electrical diagrams
• Prepare supporting calculations of the PV field DC and AC collection electrical infra-structure design including but not limited to equipment, conductor, conduit, and OCPD sizing, and voltage drop/power loss
• Assemble and review design drawings and documents and provide or coordinate delivery
• Provide engineering support through design and construction phases
• Follow QAQC processes through design and construction phases

• Attend site visits as needed
• Build rapport with co-workers
• Other Responsibilities:
• Develop understanding of the engineering department's design and CAD workflows
• Develop understanding of various state and national codes governing our work
• Develop understanding of Client's business inter-department functions
• Proficient use of AutoCAD and file management
• Provide conformance to the standards and processes outlined by the Client

• Engineering Degree ( four year degree ) OR TWO YEAR DEGREE AND SOLAR PANEL DESIGN EXPERIENCE
• Knowledge of Solar Battery Systems Design
• 1-2 years working for an electrical design firm or design build electrical contractor or other similar business.
• MUST HAVE Solar electrical systems background
• AutoCAD proficiency
• Microsoft Office Applications (advanced proficiency)
• Possess meticulous work habits including close attention to detail, superior organizational skills, ability to effectively communicate and present technical information verbally and in writing via Microsoft Office applications (mainly Excel and Word)
• Excellent time management and people skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Engineer-in-Training Certification (EIT) preferred
• Incredible problem solving and negotiation abilities
• Good people and leadership skills and ability to work with Company's Customers.
