• Work directly with sales team and customers to create custom apparel designs for screen print, embroidery, and other garment decoration methods.
• Develop designs that satisfy customer requests and meet specific requirements for production.
• Follow brand guidelines of schools, companies, and organizations.
• Create, maintain, and organize design and production files in established file system.
• Assist with various prepress and production art tasks.
• Collaborate with senior designers, marketing department, sales team, retail managers, and company owners. on other non-apparel design projects including print and digital advertising, in-store retail signage, mass email graphics, website content, social media graphics, and more.
• Maintain consistent company branding throughout all design projects.

• Degree in Graphic Design or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Strong knowledge of vector creation in Adobe Illustrator.
• Proficient in Photoshop.
• Ability to research and translate apparel graphic design trends into original design concepts.
• Strong understanding of garment decoration production, specifically screen print and embroidery.
• Ability to learn and follow detailed production processes.
• Helpful and energetic demeanor.
• Ability to adapt to a variety of job responsibilities and work as a team.
• Highest standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Organizational, problem solving, and time management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in the custom apparel industry is a plus.
