This committed individual will be the primary customer service team member in our Topeka office. The Service Associate will answer inbound calls, handle client requests, resolve customer complaints and ensure maximum client satisfaction. To be successful in this role, you must stay up to date on product features and maintain high performance standards. Ultimately, the duties of a Service Associate are to achieve excellent customer service.

Primary Responsibilities

• First point of contact for all inbound client contacts
• Contact customers to verify, gather and deliver information
• Prepare, present and process quotes and changes on existing accounts
• Serve as liaison between underwriting and client
• Identify additional client needs
• Handle client billing and claims issues
• Research and resolve customer complaints or concerns
• Handle additional duties as requested

Requirements

• Strong work ethic and self-starter, able to effectively manage multiple priorities and adapt to change within a fast-paced business environment.
• Exceptional phone and customer service skills - positive, persistent and upbeat attitude with ability to develop a rapport with customers is a necessity
• Excellent listening skills and the ability to ask probing questions, understand concerns and follow through to completion with clients’ needs
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and written (with ability to communicate effectively regarding complex and difficult situations)
• Ability to develop new and manage existing systems and processes
• Proficient with general computer and internet usage including Microsoft Office and Outlook
• Property & Casualty Licensed or obtain licensing after 1 month of employment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
