ABOUT YOUR ROLE:
This position is responsible for working with adults on acquiring, developing, and increasing social engagement and independent living skills, and increased interaction in the community and home settings. This position works to reduce problem behaviors that impede functioning.

POSITION DETAILS:

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must complete all required trainings developed by the Bureau of Autism Services for individuals with an autism spectrum disorder (AAW); must complete all required trainings developed by the Intellectual Disabilities Department, specifically pre/in-service training based on consumer’s Individual Support Plan (IDD)
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Counseling, Criminology, Education, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or other related field is preferred
• Language, mathematical, and reasoning ability skills
• Must be able to make sound decisions to support consumers in a calm and timely manner; must be able to utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities based upon consumer needs, and react quickly to prevent consumer injury or injury to another due to consumer behavior
• Must possess a valid driver's license for the purpose of transporting consumers (AERI programs only)
• Must possess proof of automobile insurance
• Organization and attention to detail
• Clear written and verbal communication skills

SIGN ON BONUS PAID AS FOLLOWS:$750 at 90 days | $750 at 180 days.
