Accountant/Bookkeeper

We are looking for an experienced, professional Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our commercial real estate property management team on full-time basis.

Responsibilities

- Bookkeeping across multiple real estate entities

- Credit card reconciliation

- Distributions

- Savings transfers

- Loan receivables and payables

- Property tax, SOS compliance, insurance and utility billing for all properties

- Annual property payroll

- Pseudo- reconciliation of properties and enterprises

- Preparation and filing of property tax and partnership k-1 filings

- Process, prepare and record invoices and vendor bills

- Prepare and facilitate bank deposits, checks, wire transfers and other transactions

- Put together bank reconciliations

- Prepare and maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable records

- Verify, ascertain and determine the correctness of financial data

- Manage Payroll

Skills/Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and/or Accounting; Real Estate experience is a plus

- GAAP (3yrs preferred) and CPA certification

- Experience in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, in particular) and Accounting Software (Quickbooks and ADP, in particular), AppFolio Real Estate software is a plus

- Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work and multi-task efficiently

- Attention to detail and problem solving skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Must be fully vaccinated for COVID 19

Schedule

Full-time, Mondal-Friday (40hrs minimum)
