The Leidos Defense Group currently has an opening for a Finance and Business Operations Analyst supporting the Air Force National Capital Region (AFNCR) program working in the DC Metro area (telecommuting an option). We’re looking for a problem solving high performer who can work with program personnel/leadership, external customer stakeholders, and Leidos senior leadership.
The position includes regular reporting, financial tracking and analysis, customer interaction, and ad hoc problem solving. It would be a valued member of a strong team of Program Financial Analysts.
Primary Responsibilities
Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of all contract cost and financial data.
Support program invoicing, reporting, and funding deliverables as well as EAC development and submission.
Strong organization, analytical, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Evaluate, monitor, and implement policies, practices, and functional performance standards for the Business Operations team.
Possess the ability to work independently, in a team environment, and with various organizational levels
Basic Qualifications
BA/BS degree with 8-12 years of experience or a Master’s degree with 6-10 years of experience.
Advanced knowledge of current financial tools and Excel to be able to automate financial reporting requirements for the program.
Extensive knowledge of OBI, Cognos and Costpoint
Extensive knowledge of ETC/EACs, Billings, Closing, and CAM reporting.
Must obtain a Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Program Finance experience with multiple contract types especially Cost Plus
Ability to learn fast and multi-task on a fast-paced program
Excellent analytical skills
Able to identify financial drivers and perform high level and detailed analysis
Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with Power BI (not required; can be trained)
Financial modeling experience
Experience with working through customer challenges (not required)
Active Secret clearance
