We are a small office looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our team and work out of our team office in Kent, WA.

Overview:

The Administrative Assistant for Team Marti is one of the main faces of the business and is highly valued! The Admin Assistant is responsible to greet guests, answer phones & emails, and provide a variety of administrative tasks. The OA also does project-based work to support our team, as well as provide simple technical support on our tools, programs & apps as needed. (Can be learn-as-you-go.) The AA plays an instrumental role in creating a positive work environment and ensures the office provides outstanding service to our clients. This is truly an important role as Team Marti is known for the excellent service we provide, and the AA is a critical part of this mission. This role requires a positive outlook, enjoyment of a fast-paced environment with changing priorities, but more importantly, must embrace our Team Marti culture and core values. THE APPLICANT MUST:

· MUST BE PROFICIENT IN MICROSOFT SUITE (Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher)

· EXCELL AT UNDERSTANDING SOCIAL MEDIA;

· HAVE EXPERIENCE CREATING MARKETING MATERIALS & WORKING WITH SOCIAL MEDIA AND ONLINE PLATFORMS

· HAVE A WILLINGNESS TO LEARN OTHER APPLICATIONS & PROGRAMS APPLICABLE TO OUR TEAM (Google Suite, Slack, Canva, MLS, etc)

· IT HELPS IF YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE IN MARKETING, creating marketing materials, ad campaigns, social posts, etc.)

· Have experience with online platforms and social media

· Help brainstorm, curate, create a monthly and annual marketing calendar (and then implement & oversee implementation)

· Work closely with the Team Lead to provide listing coordinating services to sellers

· Love being in the office environment

· Provide a high level of customer service in all aspects of the business

· Be honest, reliable & dependable

· Have excellent customer service and communication skills

· Have excellent writing skills (loves complete sentences!)

· Be very organized!

· Happy to learn and help others with the technical side of running a successful office

· Be a true professional who supports the Team Lead (Marti Reeder) – and the entire Team, in achieving our goals

The Office Administrator will be capable of and happy to:

  • Manage calendars, coordinate appointments, and ensure that schedules for our team are handled in an efficient manner
  • Database Management and familiarity with CRM technology, a plus
  • Triage workflow; organizing high priority tasks to less important tasks and bringing urgent matters to attention
  • Work with all preferred vendors, including printer, professional photographer, stager, contractors, etc.
  • Regular, predictable attendance is required onsite
  • Use (or learn) email marketing tools & other tasks required to run & manage a small business
  • Will manage all online profiles (LinkedIn, Facebook, team website, Instagram, etc.)
  • Work with technicians & website support as needed

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing tools
  • Solid computer skills, including MS Office,
  • Reliable and dependable
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage shifting responsibilities
  • Technologically savvy and able to learn new programs quickly and able to troubleshoot common issues
  • Have excellent attention to detail and high-level accuracy with documents
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Able to make quick and effective decisions, solve problems, as well as maintain confidentiality
  • A true professional, who supports the entire team in achieving their goals
  • General office work: prepare emails, file organization, phone calls, data entry
  • Maintain calendar of all pertinent dates and deadlines
  • Review paperwork for accurateness and completeness
  • Excellent verbal (English) and written skills, including spelling and grammar
  • Ability to Multi-task
  • Great attention to detail
  • Good proof reading and data entry skills
  • Real estate experience helpful but not required
  • Physical demands required of the office setting:
  • Stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard, reach, stoop, kneel to reach items on or near the floor.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work
  • Light to moderate lifting is required on occasion, 10-25 pounds
  • Regular, predictable attendance is required on site

Pay: $45,000 - $55,000 DOE

Benefits:

  • 1 week paid vacation (flexible)
  • 1 week paid vacation between Christmas and New Year’s (inflexible)
  • Flexible with personal appointments & time off (unpaid)
  • Sick leave WA State Law
  • 9 Paid holidays per year

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

9:00-4:00, with willingness to be contacted with questions after hours
*Willing to consider flexible hours

Minimum Experience:

  • Administrative Skills: 2 years or equivalent

Preferred:

  • Marketing: Classes, Certificate, Degree or equivalent – a plus!
  • Licensed Real Estate experience – a plus! (provides commission potential)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
