The Role:

Join ADI as we jump into the 21st Century. We need someone who can help assess current procedures, garner new ones and help improve efficiency in the department. This role has the potential to evolve with time, experience and unparalleled work ethic. Your primary focus would be Accounts Receivable which entails generating invoices with associated backup and collecting payment. Other responsibilities may include developing new reports, dashboards, and notifications.

Location: Springfield, VA

Responsibilities:

• Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables’ data
• Process accounts and incoming payments for multiple projects, client invoicing, and budgeting
• Thoroughly review costs related to each project for subcontractor invoicing
• Actively communicate with Project Managers to ensure all bills and invoices are accurate
• Resolve any accounting related issues with team members to complete AR in a timely manner
• Generate and collect Subcontractor Lien Waivers associated with AR billing.
• Process and monitor incoming payments
• Utilize computerized accounting software programs (Procore, Prolog, Acumatica, Excel, Microsoft Office) to perform duties and responsibilities.
• Use your knowledge of both database relationships and accounting to create visual representations of data including, but not limited to reports, dashboards and graphs.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• College level accounting classes or accounting degree, or 1-3 years hands-on accounting experience
• Preferred understanding of database relationships and, at a broad level, how software translates this to the front-end user.
• 2 years of Construction related accounting desired
• Computer Science skills desired
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and accounting software
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work efficiently
• Strong Analytical & Critical Thinking Skills
• Detail oriented, well-organized, and driven
• Team player, but ability to work independently

Pay: Competitive per industry standards based on experience
