Accounts Payable Specialist - $24-27 / hr

Whats in it for you?

• Payrate: $24-27 / hr
• 1st Shift, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
• Hybrid after training, (2 days in office)
• Full time hours

What will you be doing?

• Processing vendor invoices and expense reports in Concur, assigning expense types and locations, and accurately entering and/or ensuring other key fields are correct (i.e. - invoice date, invoice number, etc.).
• Processing vendor payments relating to Landlord Rents, Personal Property Taxes, and Business Licenses; also process manual checks as needed.
• Resolve invoice and expense report issues by working with internal customers and vendors; ensuring credit or refund check is received for outstanding memos; issuing stop-payments.
• Manage employee expense profiles in Concur; ensuring department and manager information are updated. Also manage company credit cards by ordering and cancelling cards, as necessary.
• Download invoices from vendor websites that provide access to their invoice portal - mainly utility and inventory vendors.
• Verify vendor accounts and monthly statements for related transactions and reconcile them with AP aging reports.
• Manage the AP Mailbox by acting upon emails with 2 days and uploaded to system.
• Review and update departmental policies and procedures; as well as remaining current on job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
• Accomplish accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
• Special/ad hoc projects as needed.
• Other responsibilities as asked by management.

• Excellent organizational and data entry skills and attention to detail.
• Analytical skills with a basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Excellent verbal and written skills along with good interpersonal skills.
• Works well in a team environment with the willingness to collaborate.
• Bachelor's Degree in accounting-related field preferred.
• 2 years prior AP experience preferred.
