Job Description :
Our client is a global financial and technology services company and is currently seeking a Windows System Admin to build, manage, monitor, and support Windows endpoints as well as support their internal team resolving escalated issues and offer solutions to meet their needs. This will be a remote position but the candidate must be based within 1 to 2 hours of the Cincinnati, OH area. This will be a 12 month contract.
Role Requirements:
- Windows Server, Active Directory, GPO, and related services support, management and administration experience
- Server / Endpoint virtualization support and management experience
- Azure AD, Conditional Access Policy and Intune rollouts, management, and support experience
- PowerShell scripting for automation, policy management, administration management, and related tasks
- Automate processes and procedures via scripting (Powershell, WMI, etc.)
- Advanced, complex software troubleshooting
- Internal escalation support for the help desk and other team members
- Deep understanding of Windows Registry
- RMM system administration
- Project lead and / or support roles for applicable projects
Desired Characteristics:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as system administrator or help desk (level III)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills required as there is frequent communication with internal team members
- Effective communication, patience, tenacity and follow-through in tracking, troubleshooting and bringing to resolution issues
- Strong knowledge of Windows servers, Active Directory, Azure AD, Conditional Access and Office 365
- Scripting experience (PowerShell, Batch, WMI)
- Strong task and time management skills with the ability to prioritize, triage, resolve and escalate in an efficient and effective manner
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to solve problems as they arise
