THIS IS A GRAPHIC DESIGN POSITION, NOT A DEVELOPMENT POSITION. NO CODING EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY.

Amped Marketing is Tucson’s Premier Marketing Agency. We are seeking a talented Graphic Designer that has exceptional creative and design skills. The ideal candidate will work on projects for local and national clients.

You will primarily be working on website mockups and must have a thorough understanding of website design. Please note that this is NOT a development position and no coding experience is required. Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Indesign, and Photoshop is a MUST.

Please include a link to your portfolio, or include samples of your work. The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of designing experience.

Requirements/responsibilities:

• Strong understanding of layout and design fundamentals (layout, balance, composition) with an exceptional eye for detail, layout, and consistency
• Good collaboration and interpersonal skills, especially with distributed teams
• Strong organization, problem-solving, and time management skills, and ability to calmly deliver concurrent projects
• Design clean and professional design mockups, including home page, interior pages, and custom elements
• Build and manage unit website including updates and maintenance based on established communications plans
• Coordinate, provide, and develop multi-media design for projects that support strategic marketing and communications goals
• Create, implement and maintain graphic design elements and templates that support multi-media marketing objectives
• Must be able to be self-motivated and able to work independently
• Experience with online creative/marketing campaigns
• Self-starter with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and work to strict deadlines
• Experience in Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, and an understanding of the limitations and opportunities of current web technologies
• Strong communication skills with a team-first attitude
• Other duties as required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
