Web/Graphic Designer

Job Description:

Candidate will be working in an automotive advertising agency to accomplish daily tasks of development/design work. Candidate will work directly with account executives and team lead in the implementation of web designs, print designs and production work. Must be able to pay close attention to detail while working under deadline pressure. Looking for a team player with the ability to create advertisements that get noticed and cause action.

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience in design
• Outstanding design, typography skills, and an eye for detail
• Proficient using design and development software including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
• Ability to develop using HTML, CSS and jQuery
• Knowledge of responsive CSS frameworks (Bootstrap a plus) and Email marketing design (Responsive)
• Experience working in a corporate environment
• Strong communication skills
• Be able to debug, troubleshoot and modify webpages
• Evaluate code to ensure that it is valid, properly structured, and is compatible with browsers, devices, and various operating systems
• Assist colleagues and the flow of projects via the company’s project management tool
• Deliver quality work in a timely manner
• Be a team player and great problem solver

• Sharp eye for design and highly organized
• Ability to work on multiple projects, organize information, set priorities, and meet deadlines
• Willingness to take design direction
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written
• A demonstrated commitment to highly professional ethical standards
• Meticulous attention to detail and follow-through
• Cultivates creativity with an ability to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
• Ability to work with others in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new languages, coding, and design styles

Preferred/Not Required Skills:

• Bachelor of Arts Degree in Design or equivalent experience
• Front End Designer/User Experience Designer
• A/B testing experience
• Experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms
• Familiar with basic IDE/Text Editors like Sublime, Atom, Dreamweaver
