BSA Trucking Inc of Dobson, NC is looking for an experienced Transportation Safety Director to join our growing team. The ideal candidate would be a higly motivated professional, detail oriented individual with the ability to manage a variety of sectors regarding safety and compliance in transportation.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintaining current safety standards and implementing continuing education and training programs
• Ensure the company and all employees comply with FMCSA, DOT, CSA, HOS, ELD, and other governmental regulations
• Understand and assist in the development, execution, and measurement of safety goals and management of the Company's DOT Driver/Trucking compliance programs, including but not limited to CMV files, DOT Driver Qualification Files, DOT Drug/Alcohol Programs, Vehicle Inspections, and Hours of service
• Oversees employees regarding safety regulations

The Skills we are looking for:

• Working understanding of safety procedures as well, as federal, state, and provincial safety
• Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to function well in a high-paced environment
• A knack for technology with a high level of proficiency with MS office apps
• ELD omnitracs system knowledge preferred

Qualifications:

• Bacehlors degree preferred or associates degree
• 5 plus years of experience in the trucking, logistics, transportation managment or related industry
• background in transportation safety with knowledge of DOT safety guidelines and regulations

Job Details:

• Full time, 40 hours/week, Monday through Friday
• Pay commensurate with experience

Pay: $55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
