POSITION SUMMARY: The Tasting Room Sales Associate is the first point of contact for the majority of Séka Hills tasting room customers. They are ambassadors of the Séka Hills brand and are expected to embody the customer service ideals of the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation.

Must be 21 years of age or older.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greets all visitors to the tasting room and pour wines and oils for tasting.
• Creates a memorable experience for the guests.
• Describes wines, oils and olive mill history; answer visitors’ questions about Séka Hills products.
• Provides general tourist information.
• Handles routine sales transactions which include operating cash register and accounting of daily sales.
• Assists with displays and stocking of retail items and wines.
• Assists in maintaining cleanliness of facilities.
• Assists with special events, as needed.
• Represents winery at outside functions, as needed.
• Acquires and maintains thorough knowledge of Séka Hills and YDWN.
• Prepares food items from deli menu.
• In the absence of a supervisor on shift, may act as a point of contact for customer issues that arise during the shift, disseminating directives from supervisor to staff as well as reporting back to supervisor events, issues and any other notable feedback following shift.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
