About this opportunity

Sensory Spectrum’s Managed Services Department enters into contracts with our clients to provide outsourced sensory testing support which includes program set-up, employee hiring, training & management and program oversight.

We are looking for a summer intern to help review, analyze and make recommendations to the current contract pricing structure.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate (senior) or graduate degree in mathematics, business, finance, engineering or other related field of study
• Experience with cost estimates and cost analysis, spreadsheets and data analysis software
• Detail oriented
• Comfortable with decision making and problem solving
• Strives for continuous improvement
• Self-starter with the ability to manage time and prioritize projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations, across multiple levels of the organization
• U.S. work authorization required
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 required

Responsibilities

Work directly with and support the Director of Operations for Managed Services:

• Develop an understanding of the operations of Managed Services
• Review current costing practices
• Interact with key stakeholders i.e., accounting, SVP, as needed to collect data and intellect
• Uncover gaps and inefficiencies in the process
• Make recommendations to improve process and profitability

Internship Details

• Internship is onsite in New Providence NJ
• Estimated 15 - 20 hours/week commitment required (days and time are flexible)
• Earn hourly wage ($15 - $20/hr based on experience and education level)
• Internships are part-time, temporary positions
