Job Responsibility:

The Stock Room / Backup Delivery Driver (NON-CDL) is an entry-level job within the Company. This position will primarily fill needs in the stock/shipping area and will act as a backup delivery driver for routes that start and end in our Miamisburg, OH facility when needed.
Specific tasks will include, but not be limited to the following:

Stock / Shipping:

• Stock products exiting the manufacturing process
• Fill orders using internally developed software
• Process shipping and logistical needs
• Adherence to departmental policies.

Driving / Delivery:

• Assist the Shipping & Receiving teams with the sorting and loading of finished goods into the delivery vehicle at the home location.
• Operate Sprinter/Transit style vehicle to transport products and goods between home and endpoints.
• Observe, obey, and abide by all traffic signs, laws, and road conditions while operating a motorized vehicle.
• Provide excellent customer satisfaction through prompt and accurate product delivery and communication with company and client personnel.
• Maintain accurate driving and delivery logs/reports.
• Use several, internally developed and commercial software tools to document and track various stages of the logistics process.
• Assist in route planning.
• Work semi-autonomously with little supervision.
• Follow all safety rules and company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Must be in good physical condition and capable of lifting more than 70 pounds, standing or sitting for extended periods of time, able to climb steps and ladders, and capable of bending, stooping, and carrying products up steps, stairs, and down ramps and walkways.
• Must be able to visually inspect vehicle service condition to include but not limited to tires, lights, gas, oil, and coolant.
• Must have a valid driver’s license..
• Microsoft Windows environment computing skills
• Must have one year of commercial driving experience.
• Consistently be dependable and reliable while taking responsibility and maintaining commitments.
• Excellent driving record

Employment is contingent upon favorable results from a drug test, driving record check, and criminal background check.
