Position Overview
PLEASE NOTE: This is a prospecting-heavy, multi-state territory. Candidates can expect out-of-state travel at least 25% of the time. Our comp plan is commission-heavy, with a lower base. A ramp up period with a higher base is offered for the first 6 months. OTE is north of $150k and commission is uncapped with accelerators for performance. While this is a remote position, candidate must live in territory.
HatchMed is looking for a results-driven, ambitious Regional Territory Sales Manager for the Southwest Territory who is humble, hungry, and eager to learn. This is an exceptional opportunity in the emerging med-tech industry with a company focused on creating quality patient experience hardware and software.

You will join and be mentored by a highly experienced, motivated, and collaborative sales team and will ultimately be the sole representative in a 3-state territory.
The Southwest territory includes: CA, AZ, NV
Responsibilities and Job Duties
This role requires the territory AE to find new business opportunities. The AE is responsible for every step of the sales cycle, from prospecting to implementation and customer service.
Visit hospitals in territory to present products to decision makers
Prospect via phone or in-person to locate decision makers
Develop and maintain extensive technical, product, and market knowledge
Identify and create new qualified opportunities
Travel at least 1 week per month
Dominate the 100-mile radius around the AE’s hometown
Organize the territory within the CRM (Zoho), from contacts to meetings to pipeline management
Attend and participate in weekly sales meetings
Attend and participate in regional and national trade shows and conferences
Engage with customers to develop relationships and understand needs
Execute product presentations and demonstrations
Work with National Sales Manager to develop and execute territory sales strategy
Network and collaborate with HatchMed sales team to capitalize on opportunities and generate referrals
Project management throughout sales cycle
Show consistent increase in territory activity and growth quarter over quarter
Meet or exceed annual quotas and quarterly accountability metrics
Identify, establish and maintain productive working relationships with key decision makers, staff, administrators, and innovation partners
Plan and implement effective sales/product presentations to customers
Maintain and expand existing business; develop new business opportunities
Educate customers to ensure that products and features are understood and used effectively
Respond to customer requests and resolve complaints in a professional manner
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
2+ years of sales experience (medical industry a plus)
Proven track record in sales, achievement, and leadership
Excellent interpersonal skills and persuasive communication skills
Ability to travel at least 25%
Success in introducing new technologies to the market is a plus
Must be a self-starter, have good business acumen, and have strong organizational skills
