Peraton Labs is seeking a QA Team Member to work as part of a team developing a state-of-the-art network monitoring tool. In keeping with Peraton Labs’ role as a research organization, the QA Team needs to deal with changing requirements and priorities. Working closely with other team members, in a fast-paced environment, you will be challenged to utilize and grow your skills. To be considered, candidates must be creative, passionate about process improvement, be self-sufficient, passionate for learning new things and have a strong technical ability in the following areas:

• Interacting with product owners and stakeholders to understand product requirements

• Conducting tests, analyzing results, and preparing reports on all testing aspects

Education/Experience Required:

• A four-year degree in computer science, IT, systems engineering or related fields
• Requires 4 years with BS/BA or 2 years with MS/MA or 1 year with PhD
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on software testing experience
• Knowledge of modern software testing methodologies and software test design
• Knowledge of modern test frameworks and techniques for full-stack applications
• Excellent communication and critical thinking
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and adept to problem-solving

Additional Desired Skills:

• Programming experience in Python, C/C++, Python, and/or Power Shell
• DevOps frameworks and Agile methodologies
