Overview

SCCI is seeking a Software Engineer to join our team! This position is located in Dahlgren, Va. This position is for future work expected to be available in early 2023.

Responsibilities:

• Provide Software Engineering technical support
• Support software engineering code - design reviews
• Perform requirements assessments and requirements decomposition
• Code to model system behavior through functional flows and functional descriptions
• Support the development of software engineering presentations and reports

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Must be a U.S. CITIZEN and have an ACTIVE SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE
• A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline
• Five (5) years of experience in software engineering applied to program development, modeling, and/or simulation

Specialized Experience:

• Two (2) years of experience with Navy or Joint systems. Demonstrates understanding of technical aspects required to develop large complex software intensive systems
• Proficient in software development using at least two (2) of the following languages:
  • Windows
  • Various Linux distributions (e.g. Red Hat/Red Hawk)
  • C/C++
  • Java
