Joseph Machine Company, located in Dillsburg, PA, is seeking candidates to join the

team. JMC is a growing OEM of highly automated equipment; our saws and fabrication products are used by the best manufacturers in the window and door industry.

Job Description:

Software Engineers at Joseph Machine Company are responsible for designing and developing software solutions using WPF applications, SQL Servers, and programmable logic controllers for standard and custom projects.

The successful candidate will have the following requirements:

Job Requirements:

1. Use Visual Studio 2019 or newer to develop software solutions for customer requirements with documentation.

2. Use of Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio 18 to configure, edit, and maintain Databases.

3. Development of PLC code for Allen Bradley and Trio control systems with clear and concise comments as well as documentation.

4. Responsible for working with Software, Mechanical, and Controls engineering as well as operations team to achieve the highest quality of machines.

5. Identify and solve Software, PLC, and computer system related problems.

6. Assist help desk technicians and customers in diagnosing and resolving WPF and PLC related field issues.

7. The desire to solve tough problems with quality code.

8. Maintain general shop safety and cleanliness

9. Any other work-related duties assigned by a manager

10. Responsible for projects timelines and machine quality.

11. Travel required. (10 - 20%)

Key Requirements:

• BS Degree within Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or relevant field
• 2-5 years' experience in software design, Database Systems
• Experience in software troubleshooting. And finding solutions for chronic issues.
• Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
• Proactive and self-motivated.
• Safety culture mindset.
• Positive and trustworthy.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. .NET hands on development experience.

2. Hands on programming experiencing with Logic Controllers.

3. General understanding of the fabrication equipment industry.

4. Mechanical aptitude
