As a software engineer for IRIS, you can expect a variety of different rewarding challenges. The Software Engineer will work as part of the Controls and Automation Team to develop and update industrial automation user interfaces.

The specific tasks of the software engineer include:

• Development of new applications in multiple programming environments
• Development of web applications to modernize the look of industrial automation
• Modification of existing C# application to expand on standard product features
• Expansion of existing React/Material UI/Electron application
• Work on a team to create and integrate software programming into industrial automation applications
• Database creation and implementation
• Test and debug software to ensure accuracy, integrity, operability, and completeness
• Growth into multi-faceted programmer position, including PLC and HMI programming

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of programming in C#, VB Script, and Python (1 year minimum)
• Strong knowledge of programming in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS (1 year minimum)
• Experience with Rest API is preferred
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server is preferred
• Experience with website and app development is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
