Based in our Boulder, CO location, you will participate in and support the development of proven technologies, products and/or processes to meet company objectives for cyber security and safety instrumented systems requirements.

AS A SOFTWARE ENGINEER YOU WILL :

• Interpret cyber security and safety standards and ensure requirements are applied to new and existing product designs
• Support cyber security and safety certification activities and ensure continued adherence to standards
• Interface directly with third-party certification agencies and manage third-party audits related to cybersecurity and/or safety instrumented systems
• Develop embedded firmware to provide innovative solutions and/or resolve existing issues with our electronics software products
• Participate in software project team efforts including planning, scheduling, requirements definition and technical execution of embedded software projects

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• BS Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Engineering with 1 – 3 years of experience in embedded real-time software development
• Solid design skills coupled with a process mindset for security and quality (design reviews, coding standards, etc.).
• Familiarity with modern software development methods and tools extremely helpful (Object-Oriented Design, UML, debuggers, emulators, oscilloscopes, etc.).
• Legal authorization to work in the United States – Sponsorship will not be provided for this position

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during the annual merit review process. In accordance with Colorado EPEWA, the salary range for this role is $65,000 - $85.000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
