Are you a Licensed Clinical Social Worker looking for a flexible work schedule and the opportunity to maximize your pay? If so, myPTsolutions is looking for a LCSW to fill a 13-week assignment Inpatient job. This job is working in the Behavioral/Psych Units in a busy/fast-paced environment. Currently, the unit is typically providing care for 40 patients. RNs, Mental Health Counselors, and CNAs also staffed on the unit. Ratios are typically 2 RNs to 3 MHC/LCSWs per section.

Compensation of the Social Worker:
Salary: $54 - $59/ hour based on experience, benefit level and traveler status.*

Responsibilities of the Social Worker:
Provide assistance to aid patients with community resources, financial, or placement into an alternative setting.
Responsible for integrating, facilitating, and coordinating patient care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Provides direct clinical services including, individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, and counseling as appropriate
Provide case coordination and therapeutic education services.
Provide excellent patient care and compassion.

Requirements of the Social Worker:
Guaranteed Hours Per week: 40 hours/wk (72/80 biweekly ability to cancel 1 12 HR shift per 2 weeks)
Shift Requirements: 8 HR Days
Every other weekend/every other holiday rotation with staff
On Call/Call Back Requirements: Call coverage one Saturday per month
Master s Degree in Social Work (MSW), IL LCSW or LSW. CPI certification.
Minimum Experience: 2 years experience in social services and counseling in a hospital acute care setting with a diverse population
Charting Experience Required: Meditech preferred, not required
