Web Developer/Designer/Multimedia and STEM Teacher - Part Time
Computer company is looking for a part time employee who has web development and design skills using the Joomla and Wordpress platforms. This position also involves providing customer service as walk in customers come for computer services. This position can be a hybrid - remote and on location.

Candidate will participate in our STEM camp for youth during the summer months and will teach multimedia technologies including web design and graphics design.

Most of the time this is a part-time position. During the STEM camp there will be weeks of full time work.

Responsibilities:

• Candidate will contribute to the development of existing and new websites, will promote websites online and drive more visitors those websites.
• Candidate will have opportunities to track progress of web marketing initiatives.
• Candidate will work with walk-in customers who need computer services. This includes: creating service tickets on the problems, consulting on solutions to those problems, and maintaining communication with customers.

Skills required include:

• Web development and design experience.
• Joomla, Word Press, HTML and CSS for web development.
• PHP skills are a plus.
• SEO and online marketing.
• Must have excellent communication skills, verbal, written and online.
• Must be skilled in office technology products like Microsoft Office.

Candidate must be a team player and able to work independently. Must be dependable.

The candidate will work in the office.

The company provides computer repair services, sells computer components to retail customers, creates web sites and provides onsite technology services to businesses. We are located on the east side of Indianapolis.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
