Key Job Responsibilities
- Install, configure, test, and maintain on-premise and M365 cloud platform deployments
- Install third-party application software and system management tools
- Conceive, write, and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks (PowerShell knowledge a plus)
- Monitor and test application performance for potential improvement opportunities
- Lead in the design of information and operational support systems with an emphasis on network architecture
- Manage vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
- Log calls with external providers where and when necessary and effectively escalate issues needing their support
- Identify and help lead the deployment of improvement opportunities to the customer's environment
- Responsible for implementing part or all of the technical solution for the client following an agreed technical design
- Design and implement effective backup and recovery solutions
- Responsible for providing a detailed technical design for enterprise solutions across multiple platforms and technologies.
- Understands a broad spectrum of technology to provide part or all of a detailed technical design that meets customer requirements.
- Ability to lead large technical projects.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively work with peers and clients.
- Act as a liaison with Solution and Data-Base Architects as appropriate
- Provides technical support and input on the application of technology to a defined business segment
- Provides advice on solution and integration opportunities for our customers
- Reviews architectural solutions and provides recommendations and suggests changes if necessary
- Provides technical leadership on specific integration activities that are part of an engagement.
- Provides planning and design support for developing solution architectures that will be implemented in a multiple-system environment
- Effectively communicates across client community and is viewed as adding value
- Contributes to knowledge tools and communities and ensures project learnings are documented and shared
- Role models knowledge sharing and re-use within practice or profession.
- Proactively encourages membership and contributions of others to the professional community. Meet the relevant certification and professional standards important to employer
- Produces internally published material such as knowledge briefs, service delivery kit components or modules, etc.
- Actively participates in the sales cycle and works with sales/principals on pre-sales activities.
Candidates should be comfortable working on mission-critical systems, utilizing creative problem-solving skills, and must have extensive technical experience with:
- Windows Active Directory and Group Policies
- Microsoft Azure implementation
- M365 migration projects
- Install integrated UCaaS and Microsoft Teams solutions
- VMware Design and virtualization best practices
- TCP/IP, WANs, and Routing Design
- Cisco, HPE Aruba switches/routers
- Advanced Network Monitoring tools
- Installation of advanced firewalls and security environments
- Implement Exchange Email Spam and phishing filtering
- Evaluating and making product/design recommendations
Candidates should demonstrate the ability to:
- Engage clients in technology discussions using non-technical terms
- Solve problems in a scientific and logical manner
- Oversee large projects
- Create Technology Plans and Budgets
It is preferred that candidates have experience with:
- MSP/CJIS security policies
- 9-1-1 Network Design and Management
- E911/NG9-1-1
- VoIP Network Design
- ESInet designs
- Scripting Languages (VBS, PowerShell)
- Designing advanced wireless and UCaaS solutions
- Engineering large infrastructure cabling systems

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree with a technical major such as engineering or computer science is preferred
- Experience along with technology certifications may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree
- VCA, VCP, VCAP, MCSA, MCSE, MCSA, CCENT, CCT, CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, CEH, and AWS certifications are a plus
- Minimum three years of professional experience with system and networking administration
- Preferred three years of experience with virtualization, cloud environments
- Preferred experience managing contact center technology environments
- Hands-on knowledge of Windows Server and Desktop OS, Mac OS, VMware and Microsoft HyperV virtual environments
- Hands-on knowledge of Cisco networking equipment management
- Hands-on knowledge of HPE Aruba network equipment
- Computer hardware, including workstations, servers, VoIP, peripherals
- Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, LAN/WAN networking
- Knowledge of Microsoft M365, OneDrive, Teams and Sharepoint and or G Suite, AWS, and cloud environments
- Multifactor Authentication expertise
- Knowledge of internet security and data privacy
- Adaptability to change and be able to responds effectively to unexpected events
- Possess analytical, forward-thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Accuracy and thoroughness in job duties
- Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with network users, technicians, vendors and customers

Pay: $106,291.70 - $112,539.03 per year
