Rantec Power Systems is hiring a Sr. Software Engineer at its Los Osos Facility that is located in on the beautiful Central Coast of California. About the Positions

The Software Engineer develops, creates and modifies embedded microcontroller software and digital/analog control systems. They modify existing embedded software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware or improve its performance.

Experience / Education Requirements include the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Software, Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
• This is a senior level position with between 5+ years of embedded experience
• Experience with C and assembly programming
• Experience with digital and analog control circuit design and embedded programming
• Experience reading and creating electrical schematics
• Experience creating Software Quality Assurance requirements and documentation
• Experience with military or aerospace hi-reliability systems
• Understanding of Software Configuration Management practices and tools: git (preferred)
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
