Basic Purpose
Responsibilities
- Conduct research and analysis; make recommendations - Complex analysis
- Serve as mentor/trainer and provide guidance and assistance to team members
- Analyze, define and document requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating systems environment, interface with other systems, internal and external controls and output - Advanced analysis
- Design and code application solutions; integrate changes to applications - Most Complex/Unusual
- Develop and maintain solution documentation
- Identifying business requirements (e.g. needs, objectives, functions, features, input and output) - Under minimal supervision
- Maintain and monitor systems/applications after implementation
- Prepare test data; conduct unit and string testing; debug code and systems components
- Research emerging technologies and recommend solutions that align with business goals - Advanced analysis
- Troubleshoot and resolve application/solution problems - Complex/Difficult
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or the equivalent
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with designing, configuring, and implementing solutions for Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform
- Extensive knowledge of Business Units, Mobile Studio, Email studio, Web Studio, Content Builder, Journey builder
- Hands-on experience on email templates and SMS templates development
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, understanding of relational databases, and SQL
- Experienced in server-side API development
- Experienced in server-side Javascript preferred but not required
- Experience with Java, Spring, SpringBoot and CI/CD development methodologies preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of application development including determining, developing, testing, and implementing system requirements; designing, coding, debugging applications
- Skills for applying innovative approaches to solve technical design issues
- Experienced in designing and deploying new, upgraded and/or existing systems
- Experienced in resolving conflicting requests and meeting changing requirements
- Advanced skill troubleshooting and resolving technical problems
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM

Navy Federal is now hybrid! Our standard enterprise requirement for a hybrid schedule is to report on-site 4-16 days each month. The number of days reporting on-site will ultimately be determined by the employee's leadership and business unit needs. You will learn more throughout the hiring and on boarding process.
Salary Range: $87,800 - $160,900 annually
Navy Federal Credit Union assesses market data to establish salary ranges that enable us to remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range, based on your experience, location and market position.
