We are looking for team members with natural people skills and a sense of style and design. Many are interior designers; however a formal education is useful but not essential to be successful.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers rapidly and effectively. Make customers feel welcome and comfortable by being friendly, cheerful, nice and empathic.
• Know the products on the floor - where and when each can be used. Assist customers in the selection of the best product for their needs.
• Possess a good basic understanding of color and design and be able to help the customer make good decisions.
• Quickly figure basic numbers in your head. Be able, without leaving the customer, to give reasonably accurate ballpark total costs to the customer. Swiftly and correctly prepare complete customer estimates.
• Demonstrate good organization and time management (i.e., keeping appointments, using floor time effectively to sell, quickly and efficiently completing paperwork without interfering with your time in the store.) Always be in contact with your customer keeping them apprised of when they will be receiving their quote or product.

Requirements:

• One plus years in consumer sales
• A two year college or university degree or equivalent experience
• A sound work ethic and respect for detail
• A valid driver's license
• Ability to lift 30 pounds
