Job Description :

Summary: It is the responsibility of the Repairs Project Manager to organize, supervise and coordinate multiple projects and the onsite staff to complete the work on schedule, within the budget and to the quality of workmanship specified.

Essential Job Functions:

Establish and maintain effective and harmonious working relationships with all those involved in the project, particularly with the Owner and/or Owner’s Representative and Office Team.

  • Meet at regular intervals with the Owner/Representative and Office Team and to keep them advised on the status of cost versus budget and the progress of the work.
  • Coordinate scheduling, procurement (material, subcontractors, etc.), and accounting as they relate to the progress and completion of the project.
  • Must understand the project scope of work to assign and track subcontractor responsibilities.
  • Acquire sub work authorizations and invoices to get subs paid on start-up, progress, and final payments. Will review documents for accuracy.
  • Ensure that the Project Schedule incorporates dates and times for Owner decisions. Should also ensure availability of design and/or scope information, procurement of materials and subcontracts, lead times for fabrication, and field installation is established and maintained.
  • Keep Estimator informed of schedule, work progress, issues, and changes in work.
  • Keep daily/weekly notes updated in the shared project file and Xactanalysis.
  • Keep daily/weekly photos updated in the shared project file and Xactanalysis.
  • Will ensure that Quality Control measures will be implemented and maintained throughout the life of the project.
  • Ensure each member of project team understands roles and responsibilities.
  • Follow Company administrative procedures as they relate to the project.
  • Ensure company personnel and subcontractors are conducting work safely and per Cal-OSHA regulations.
  • Work with estimating and accounting to report, forecast and reconcile project costs.
  • Attend weekly project and/or staff meetings.
  • Will be directly involved in preparing and presenting the annual evaluation of the Project Coordinator(s) and Field Superintendent.

Requirements and Abilities:

  • A valid driver’s license is required.
  • Must have 3-5 years residential construction trades experience (insurance industry preferred-not required.)
  • Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedules.
  • Experience establishing contacts and relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Possess exceptional organizational and planning skills (detail-oriented person)
  • Must have strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent time management skills are required.
  • Ability to work closely with people to meet deadlines.
  • Must work independently under limited supervision.
  • As a core value of our business, must work effectively with customers.
  • Frequently required to use personal protective equipment, having ability to stand or walk, occasionally bending, squatting, climbing stairs and lifting-up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Must be willing to work overtime and work outside normal business hours.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
