JOB DESCRIPTION
Kettelhut Construction, Inc is an established successful commercial building firm located in Lafayette, Indiana.
Due to our continued and calculated growth, we have an outstanding opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team of construction professionals. The Project Manager will be responsible for budgeting, organization, implementation and scheduling of projects within the Kettelhut portfolio.
TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES: PM Typical responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion
Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status
Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses
Analyze, manage and mitigate risks
Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
BS degree in Engineering or Construction Management
2-3+ years of Project Management experience
Or equivalent combination of education and experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Strong technical and communication skills are critical
Ability to work in a team environment
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
WORKING CONDITIONS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently or occasionally required to:

Climb or balance
Stoop, crouch and step over obstacles
Lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
Work in outdoor conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity
Work in environment with dust, loud noise and/or vibrations
