Project Manager for Hire

We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to join our cohesive team for our mining facility in the South Texas area.

Job Summary

To lead, promote, and facilitate continuous improvement activities with Construction employees to identify improvement methods. Drive the use of best construction and planning practices such as cost savings, waste elimination, on time delivery and employee performance.

Salary

$85,000-$100,00 Annually

Job Requirements

· Develop and maintain production metrics for quality, production efficiency, delivery, and safety.

· Team up with other departments to coordinate activities and resolve production issues on a timely basis.

· Hands-on supervision of daily department operations including:

o Workflow scheduling; management of staff; monitoring production and quality; managing production processes; and all other activities required to ensure a Safe, high quality, and on-time delivery.

· Maintain favorable working relationships with employees through open communication, visibility, and involvement to promote a positive working environment that maximizes safety, employee engagement, productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness.

· Provide direction, support, and coaching to production leads.

· Evaluate production schedules and labor requirements to provide work direction, effectively balance labor resources and provide feedback on planning.

· Develop and implement staffing plans, through capacity and labor planning activities, including writing justifications for additional personnel, and obtaining approval maximize their strengths

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

· High School Diploma or GED Required.

· Minimum of 5 years Project management or equivalent experience required

· Must have a strong sense of urgency, be time driven, and highly motivated.

· Results driven leadership, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.

· Strong understanding of assembly line principles and able to identify minimal waste processes.

· Culture of continuous improvement –always looking for ways to get better using problem solving tools to achieve change.

· Ability and desire to improve efficiency and increase capacity.

· Excellent communicator.

· Strong math skills for methods studies.

· Computer literate and knowledge of all Microsoft suite software is a must.

· Analytical thinker able to identify areas of improvement, present, and implement solutions.

· Team Player that works well with others across all areas of the company.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills able to provide work direction.

· Ability to present recommendations and ideas and build consensus.

· Detail Oriented and focused closely on all details that play a part in the overall picture.

· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

· The position requires strong leadership, ability to coach others, a continuous improvement mindset and a willingness to go the extra mile to help our company grow and achieve our vision.

Schedule: One Week on, One Week Off or as needed
