The Project Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of a project, from start to finish, ensuring the project is completed on time and within budget. This position will take a strategic and service-oriented approach to work with project teams to execute projects designed to achieve strategic business objectives and goals, to perform the job successfully, the individual must be able to execute each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties, assignments, and specific projects may be assigned at the discretion of executive management.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creates and manages roadmaps, project plans, milestones, daily monitoring tasks, and activities for all company-oriented business units through expected deadlines
  • Engages with project team members to ensure the scope of work is clearly defined, including schedule, and costing information, and identifies variances from the original plan
  • Publishes project schedules to the project team on a regular basis. Maintains and reports out project KPIs' as defined by the company
  • Enters project timelines and maintains a database of tasks and related statuses
  • Interacts with cross-functional internal customers and defined project teams to schedule work and in preparing the percentage of work completed to record financials
  • Delegating tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them
  • Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project
  • Evaluates project schedule progress, performance, and problem areas
  • Analyzes critical paths and constraints; determines the effect of changes; and recommends remedial actions
  • Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy
  • Notifies project teams and leadership of risks that affect project costs, schedules, profit margin, delivery commitment, and customer relations
  • Communicating with leadership to keep the project aligned with their goals
  • Performing quality control on the project throughout technical development to maintain the standards expected
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques
  • Supports project teams with timely and effective change management processes, procedures, and systems
  • Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned
Requirements:

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare, or a related field
  • 4+ years of project management experience
  • Knowledge of agile project management methodologies
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies with enterprise-level application development projects
  • Experience overseeing multi-function project teams
  • Ability to overcome obstacles to achieve goals and adapt to a changing environment
  • Experience interfacing with marketing, sales, software development, operations, and vendors regarding the solution of product problems and translation of customer
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision, and uses independent judgment to analyze variable factors and determine the best course of action
  • Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deliverables

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Emotional intelligence with influencing and negotiating skills
  • Excellent organization, time management, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to quickly adapt to change and work in ambiguity while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strategic problem-solving and decision-making ability
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle models
  • Healthcare experience

LICENSING/CERTIFICATIONS:

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) is preferred, but not required.

PHYSICAL AND TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENT:

  • Ability to work at a desk and computer in the office for long periods of time
  • Ability to maintain focus under high levels of pressure and multiple priorities
