JOB SUMMARY:

Representing CWI Rope & Assemblies Division (Loos & Co., Loos Cableware, Sanlo and Strand Core) in a sales and customer service capacity, to all customers in the assigned geographical territory. Routinely visits major customers in the territory to present all of the products sold by the company in order to maximize the purchase potential of each customer. Travel is expected approximately 50 to 60% of the time; when not traveling this position will be based (Florida).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Understands and evaluates the business goals of each customer in order to help fulfill those goals by the selling of as many products as possible from the product selection offered by the Rope & Assemblies Division.

Communicates customer needs and requests to appropriate location personnel.

Routinely monitors competitive activity within the territory and communicates such activity to all company personnel.

Communicates ideas and requests for new product lines that can be developed and sold by the company.

Communicates ideas for marketing and promotional improvements of the company’s products to Sales and Marketing Team.

Attend and participate at Trade Shows as required/directed.

Monitors inside customer service functions within the territory and recommends improvements to Commercial Management when necessary.

Maintains and monitors sales records for all customers in the territory and plans for improved sales wherever possible.

Reviews sales performance of individual customers with the Commercial Management on a quarterly basis, and plans ideas for needed correction and/or improvement.

Communicates planned sales call and travel activity with Commercial Management for each upcoming calendar quarter.

Exhibits superior management of sales and travel expenses.

Makes his/her time available to assist others in the CWI Group, including personnel in customer service, production, engineering, computer service, accounts receivable, and company upper management.

Offers assistance to CWI Group, passing on sales leads, market development ideas, and the general support of its personnel.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITES:

Performs other related duties as assigned by Commercial Management.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Excellent communication, sales ability and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated ability to coordinate a high level of activity under a variety of conditions and constraints.

Willingness to travel frequently.

Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in business, marketing or engineering, preferred.

Five years technical sales experience

Familiar with manufacturing processes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
